Common name: Blyth ’ s Mouse
Myanmar name:
Distribution: Only occur in the Central area of Myanmar (from Mandalay to Shwegyin, Bago and Hmawbi Township; Shimada et al. 2007).
Remarks: This species is endemic to Myanmar. It was treated as a synonym of a more widely distributed M. cervicolor , but Shimada et al. (2007) recognized as a distinct species from all other species of Mus currently recognized in the Asian region.
