Type Material. Holotype, Material examined: BRAZIL, Amazonas state, Santa Izabel do Rio Negro County, Pico da Neblina, 2030 m a.s.l., 08–12.x.1990, Malaise trap, collectors J.A. Rafael & J. Vidal (female, INPA) . Paratype, as holotype, except 08–13.x.1990 (1 female, INPA) .

Diagnosis. Female, head dorsally dark brown from posterior margin to median ocellus, yellow from median ocellus to anterior margin of labrum ( Fig. 12A, B View FIGURE 12 ); pronotum yellow ( Figs. 11A, B View FIGURE 11 , 12B, C View FIGURE 12 ); wings costal region yellow until near ¾ basal length, the remaining length and region brown ( Fig. 11 View FIGURE 11 A–C).

Etymology. The specific epithet of the new species is in honor of Yoshiki Hayashi, a Japanese musician, songwriter and composer, leader of the X Japan rock band for his excellence in music and contribution to humanitarian causes around the world, including the preservation of Amazonian forest. The new species was collected in a region of a well-preserved Amazonian forest. Hopefully, the contributions of Yoshiki and others who follow his example, will continue to help preserve the Amazon, protecting the Amazonian habitat of the new species.

Description. Female ( Figs. 11–13 View FIGURE 11 View FIGURE 12 View FIGURE 13 ): Total length: 23.3 mm, 19.6 mm (from head anterior region until forewing apex, n= 2). Forewing length: 17mm, 14.4 mm (n = 2). Head: Dorsally, parietal and frontal region, including ocellus area, dark brown, yellow from median ocellus until labrum anterior margin ( Fig. 12A, B View FIGURE 12 ); ventrally, yellow with region behind the eyes dark brown, maxillary and labial palps dark brown ( Fig. 12C, D View FIGURE 12 ). Antennae dark brown, with scape and pedicel yellow with some small brown spots; first 10 flagellomeres with yellow marks laterally ( Figs 11B View FIGURE 11 , 12C, D View FIGURE 12 ). Thorax: General color yellow; pronotum yellow, mesonotum brown anteriorly with some yellow region distally; meso and metathorax with some dark-brown regions laterally ( Fig. 11B, C View FIGURE 11 ). All legs dark brown, except coxae yellow; femora basally with small yellowish area on external margin ( Fig. 11B, C View FIGURE 11 ). Wings costal margin region yellow until near ¾ basal length, the remaining length and region brown ( Fig. 11 View FIGURE 11 A–C). Abdomen: Yellow. Tergum IX wider than long, with a dense group of setae on distal margin ( Fig. 13A View FIGURE 13 ). Sternum VIII ( Fig. 13B View FIGURE 13 ) almost as long as wide; ratio between length (median region) and width (widest region) 0.9; approximately quadrilateral in shape; with a group of long dense setae on median region ( Fig. 13B View FIGURE 13 ); posterior margin with u-shape median notch ( Fig. 13B, C View FIGURE 13 ). Sclerotized band of sternum IX at the same height as posterior margin of sternum VIII ( Fig. 13B View FIGURE 13 ); band thicker laterally, turning narrower medially ( Fig. 13C View FIGURE 13 ). Cerci long, setose, segments 1–4, internally light colored, other segments brown.
