Diagnosis
Although all three species of the genus are quite similar in structure, main body proportions and coloration, Jessopocoris scutellatus Carvalho, 1981 can be easily distinguished from J. aterovittatus Mu & Liu, 2012 and J. yunnananus Mu & Liu, 2012 by the uniformly whitish-yellow antennal segment II, pale brown head and calli, and exceptionally long segment IV, which is twice as long as segment III and about 1.6× as long as segment II.
