Type species: Xizicus (Eoxizicus) kulingensis Tinkham, 1943

Subgeneric diagnosis. Male 10th abdominal tergite with 1 pair of small posterior processes which are sometimes reduced or absent; cerci with 1–2 rather diverse proximal middle lobes or processes and 1–2 distal processes which usually narrow and not flattened. Male genitalia entirely membranous or feebly sclerotized; subgenital plate variant among species, with or without styli.
