Type material examined. Holotype (by monotypy), Malanda, Qld ( NHRS).
Other material examined. Australia, Queensland: 1 male, 5 females, Malanda, 7 km NE of Atherton tableland, rain forest, piège lumineaux, 3-8.III.1997, T. Bourgoin ( MNHN).
Distribution. Queensland.
Note. Jacobi (1928) notes that only one specimen was available to him and this is here recognised as the holotype by monotypy. Photographs of this specimen in NHRS were examined to establish the identity of the species. Its sex is unknown.
