Type material examined. Syntype male “Lucinda Pt / 7.04. Q.” “ Sarnus / lucindae / Kirk. / ♂ 301 / holotype ” ( BPBM).

Distribution. Queensland.

Note. Kirkaldy (1906) gives no indication of the sexes nor the numbers of specimens he examined in his description so the above specimen is here recognised as a syntype. It is, however, available for designation as lectotype when the Australian issid fauna is comprehensively revised.
