Callilanguria stenosoma ( Harold, 1879)
Fig. 10 View FIGURES 9–12
Languria stenosoma Harold 1879: 64 . Type locality: Borneo , Sarawak. Type depository: MCSN .
Callilanguria stenosoma: Fowler 1908: 21 .
Remark. Body length: 12–14 mm (original description). Harold (1879) mainly described the color of this species; he noted that this species could be distinguished from C. luzonica by antennomere VII being triangular; the apices of the elytra are truncated and oblique, with small denticles; the outer angle extends further posteriorly than the sutural angle. In addition, the body size is smaller than in C. luzonica . The most reliable characteristic is the shape of the apices of the elytra.
Type specimen examined. (Through photographs from Dr. Toki Wataru in Japan.) Holotype: female (MCSN): “Borneo, Sarawak, 1865–66. Coll. S. Doria \ Typus \ stenosoma Har. \ stenosoma Harold typ. \ Museo Civico di Genova”.
