Type species: Mekongomantis quinquespinosa Schwarz, Ehrmann & Shcherbakov, 2018c: 581 View in CoL .
Diagnosis. Large-size and elongated; lower frons transverse, pentagonal-liked; pcpl saddle-shaped, its length nearly equal to its width; forefemur with five PvS and four DS; pronotum straight and narrow, with two sides of lateral edges of metazona almost parallel; both pairs of wings well developed and extending beyond the end of abdomen; left phallomere of the male genitalia large, weakly sclerotized, afa is S- shaped in profile, covered with dense, long setae in the surface.
Diversity and distribution. Monotypic genus distributed in China (Yunnan), Thailand, and Vietnam.
