Diagnosis

Female antenna short, at most 1.1 × as long as width of mesoscutum; mesoscutellum with distance between submedian grooves 1.5 × the distance between submedian and sublateral grooves; female gaster short ovate, 1.5 × as long as wide.

Distribution

(Former) Czechoslovakia, France, Germany, United Kingdom, Canada ( Graham 1991) and Sweden ( Hedqvist 2003).

Ecology

Host

Cassida murraea L., C. rubiginosa Müller, C. deflorata Suffrian ( Graham 1991), C. humeralis Kraatz (new record). All hosts are Coleoptera : Chrysomelidae .
