Holotype: 1 worker, MEXICO, Veracruz: Est. Biol. Los Tuxtlas, 18.58584 −95.07665 ± 20m, 180m, 29-May-2016, tropical rainforest, ex sifted leaf litter (ADMAC, Wa-F-01-2-27) [UNAM, unique specimen identifier CASENT0644336] . PARATYPES: same data as holotype [queen: CASC, USNM; worker: CASC, DZUP, JTLC, MCZC, UCD, USNM].
