Discussion: Eudorcas has been treated as a full genus as a result of cladistic analysis by Groves (2000 b); may be sister taxon of Nanger , as shares translocation of an autosome to the Y chromosome ( Vassart et al., 1995); genetically distinct according to Rebholz and Harley (1999).
