4. Paraleptomenes miniatus View in CoL (de Saussure, 1855)
Diagnosis. Punctation on T1, T2 & S2 normal, not very coarse and thick; maximum width of T1 0.90–1.10x its median length (Fig. 14); scutellum convex; metanotum oblique; clypeus long and pyriform, margined off by a carina on each side and longitudinally rugoso-striate between the carinae.
There are three subspecies: P. miniatus mephitis ( Cameron, 1901) , P. miniatus miniatus (de Saussure, 1855) and P. miniatus nigrithorax Giordani Soika, 1994 .
