Raveni View in CoL species-group
This is a new species group, established to accommodate Crotonia raveni sp. nov. The apophysis of setae f 1 are the longest of the caudal series, rather than those of h 2 or h 3, the lateral notogastral setae are elongated and flagelliform, and it has the full complement of setae in the c series. The apophyses of setae c 1-2 are long and cylindrical. The caudal apophyses are separated into two groups, with f 1 and h 1 positioned dorsally and h 2 and h 3 ventrally, rather than fused into one group. The broad strip of cuticle lateral of suprapleural scissure bears lyrifissures im and ip and the apophyses of setae e 2 and f 2.
