( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 )

Description. Male. Body small, medium sized for the tribe Meconematini . Fastigium verticis conical, apex round- ed, with a longitudinal sulcus. Eyes hemispherical, protruding outward. Apical segment of maxillary palpus as long as subapical one, apex slightly inflated.

Anterior margin of pronotum nearly straight, posterior margin rounded; lateral lobes longer than high; humeral sinus indistinct. Thoracic foramen exposed, ovoid.

All femora without spines on ventral surface. Procoxae with a long spine; protibiae with 4–5 spines on internal and external margins of ventral surface separately; tibial tympana open on both sides, ovoid. Mesotibiae with 5–6 spines on internal and external margins of ventral surface separately. Posttibiae with 25–28 spines on internal and external margins of dorsal surface separately, bearing 1 pair of dorsal apical spurs and 2 pairs of ventral apical spurs.

Tegmina elongate, anterior and posterior margins nearly parallel, distinctly surpassing apices of postfemora, apices rounded. Hind wings longer than tegmina.

Posterior margin of tenth abdominal tergite with 1 pair of posterior processes, apices rounded, slightly curved ventrad and outward. Cercus leaf-shaped, distinctly curved dorsad; internal margin at basal area with a compressed spine-shaped process, apex acute; near basal area with a deep concavity; the other area on internal margin expanded, lamellate, tapering, apex obtusely rounded. Subgenital plate trapezoidal, basal area broad, gradually narrowing, basal margin concave, posterior margin with 1 obtusely angle-shaped notch. Styli stout and short, apices rounded on ventral surface of subapex of subgenital plate.

Female. Appearance is similar to male. Cercus conical, apex rounded. Ovipositor nearly straight, dorsal valvulae as long as ventral ones, apex of ovipositor acute. Subgenital plate nearly trapezoid, basal area broad, posterior margin moderately concave.

Coloration. Body green. Eyes brown. Antennae light brown. Pronotum with 1 pair of longitudinal black stripes on disc. Apices of genicular lobes black, tips of tibial spines black. Apex of ovipositor brown.

Discussion. The new species resembles Xizicus (Eoxizicus) simianshanensis Wang & Shi, 2017 and Xizicus (Eoxizicus) divergentis ( Liu & Zhang, 2000) , but it differs from them in: internal margin of male cercus at basal area with 1 compressed spine-shaped process, apex acute; near basal area with 1 deep concavity; the other area on internal margin expanded, lamellate, tapering, apex obtusely rounded; subgenital plate longer than wide.

Type material. Holotype: ♂, Shengtangshan, Jinxiu, Guangxi, 13 August, 2018, coll. Qidi Zhu and Lixuan Chen. Paratypes: 2♂ 2♀, Shengtangshan, Jinxiu, Guangxi, 13 August, 2018, coll. Qidi Zhu and Lixuan Chen.

Measurements(mm). Body: ♂ 9.5–11.5, ♀ 9.5–12.0; pronotum: ♂ 3.2–3.5; ♀ 3.3–3.5; postfemora: ♂ 9.6–10.2, ♀ 9.6–10.0; tegmina: ♂ 17.0–18.0, ♀ 17.8–19.0; ovipositor: 10.5–11.5.

Etymology. The name of new species is derived from the morphology of male cercus, Greek “ lob- ” means lobation, and Greek “ cerc -” means cercus.
