Distribution.

Eastern North America south to Argentina.

Remarks.

Capellari and Amorim (2010) re-described and illustrated this species. Wei (2012) proposed placement of C. spectabilis in the new genus Dubius Wei, but I concur with Capellari and Amorim (2014) that this is unjustified.
