Diagnosis. TSS subcircular widest medially; terminal spine absent ( Fig. 11 View FIGURES 8–11 ).

Description. Length: Male 1.02–1.13 mm.

Color: Known only from two slide mounted specimens, general light yellow habitus. Both specimens withdistinctlateralbrownmaculaeonMt1-6.

Male: Head 1.04 as long/wide, interocular distance 0.44 head width. Antennae with scape with uniform width; A2 appressed to F1; C1, C2, and C3 0.34, 0.41, 0.37 total club length, respectively;F1- 0 BPS; F2- 1 BPS; C1-0 BPS, C2 and C3 each with 1 ventral BPS; C1- 1PS extending length of segment and 0-1PS extending from C1-C2; C2- 0-1 PS extending length of segment; C3- 2 PS extending length of segment with a slight apical extension beyond end of club; club segments with relatively sparse CHS, C2 with no distinct CHS, maximum length 0.030 mm.

Mesosoma: Mesoscutum ca. 1.07 wide/long. Scutellum ca. 1.5 wide/long. Forewing 0.38 as wide /long; venation attaining ca. 0.5 length of wing; occurrence of vein tracks as follows; R and RS2 present, distinct; A, M and RS1 absent; r-m and CU1 present but indistinct; fringe setae short, 0.25 maximum width of wing; relative length of submarginal, premarginal, marginal and stigmal veins, 1.4, 0.7, 1.1, 0.4, respectively; postmarginal extension absent; submarginal narrow, widest at basal end; premarginal absent. Legs with relative length of coxa, trochanter, femur, tibia and (tarsomeres) as follows: fore leg- 3.5: 2.0: 7.5: 5.0: (2.3: 2.0: 2.0); middle leg-3.2: 2.3: 6.5: 8.9: (3.2: 2.7: 2.5); hind leg- 6.1: 2.6: 6.5: 9.5: (2.5: 2.2: 2.7).

Metasoma: TSS subcircular lacking terminal spine ( Fig. 8 View FIGURES 8–11 ). Genitalia with volsella sickle shaped lacking a digital spine; length of genitalia to HTL 0.79–0.84. Length of apodemes to total aedeagus length 0.44–0.49, length to width of anterior dorsal aperture 0.94; AD to length of genitalia 0.34–0.44.

Female. Unknown.

Distribution. Known from southeastern Arizona and central Texas.

Biology. Unknown

Etymology. From the Latin for unarmed, in reference to the absence of a terminal spine.

Types. Holotype 1♂ s, UNITED STATES. Arizona (Cochise Co.)- Huachuca Mts.; 5200′; 5364 Ash Cyn. Rd. 0.5 mi W. Hwy. 92; viii.1993; MT; N. McFarland ( USNM).

Material examined. UNITED STATES; Texas (Burnet Co.)- Inks Lake State Park ; 1♂ s iii.22.1986; JBW & GZ ; 86/020 (UCR).
