Notes
Questionable status. Easily confused with Lepidasthenia brunnea Day, 1960, therefore Barnich and Fiege (2003) consider the records of the species in Europe doubtful. The authors also refer the description of Lepidasthenia maculata by Fauvel (1923) to Lepidasthenia brunnea , thus it is likely that specimens identified with Fauvel's key in fact belong to Lepidasthenia brunnea .
