Type specimens.

Dendropaemon (Onthoecus) morettoi Génier & Arnaud, 2016. The lectotype (♂) is deposited at the MNHN (see: Génier and Arnaud 2016: 62). Locality: Santé Fé/ de Bogota [= Santa Fé de Bogotá], not examined.

Distribution.

Colombia and Ecuador.

Temporal data.

It is not known when this species was collected.

Remarks.

It is possible that this species occurs in the evergreen foothill forests of the Amazon region. The collection method is unknown.
