EURYTOMA SP. ( FIG. 31A, B View Figure 31 )

Hedqvist (1966) mixed several species when describing Eurytoma kangasi View in CoL . Part of the type series: allotype

♂ (in FMNH) and paratype ♀ (in BMNH) (for labelling, see Fig. 9G, H View Figure 9 ) belongs to another and undescribed species for which we do not have any other specimens. Unfortunately, the only available female lacks the head, and hence the species cannot be formally described. As for E. ithma sp. nov., described above, the anterior outline of the mesepisternum forms a blunt angle in front of the mesocoxae, delimiting anteriorly an apparent ventral shelf when seen in lateral view. The gaster is evidently longer than that of E. ithma sp. nov., with the syntergum longer than GT6 on the median line. The male has the lower face entirely strigose, the radiating crests reaching the eyes and antennal toruli; its clypeus is emarginate on the ventral margin; the scape has no ventral swelling, but with a long and narrow smooth ventral surface. All funicular segments have an apical peduncle. The female is labelled ‘ex Pissodes validirostris’. The species is known only from Finland.
