Acanthoderes (Pardalisia) funeraria Bates, 1861 View in CoL
Acanthoderes funerarius Bates, 1861: 151 View in CoL .
Acanthoderes (Pardalisia) funeraria View in CoL ; Monné, 2017b: 140 (cat.).
Myoxomorpha erichsonii Thomson, 1868: 147 View in CoL .
Acanthoderes funeraria View in CoL was described from Mexico (no detailed place informed), based on males and females. Thomson (1868) described Myoxomorpha erichsonii View in CoL based on a single specimen also from Mexico (without detailed place). Bates (1880) considered M. erichsonii View in CoL as a variety of A. funeraria View in CoL , and thus, established the synonymy between both species. Currently the species is only recorded from Mexico (Oaxaca, San Luís Potosí, Veracruz, Michoacán, Hidalgo) ( Monné 2017b).
Material examined. MEXICO, Puebla: Cuacnopalan (2260 m), 1 female, 24–27.V.2009, D. Curoe col. ( IMQC). New state record.
