6. Aceria longior ( Nalepa 1891) .
Nalepa 1891 — Nova Acta Leop. Akad., 55(6): 371–373, pl. 1 figs 1‒2.
Type data. Camelina sativa (L.) Crantz, gold of pleasure; collecting locality was not stated by the author even though Austria is presumed.
Alternative hosts. Alyssum alyssoides (L.) L. (previously listed as Alyssum calicynum L.), Berteroa incana (L.) DC., C. bursa-pastoris , C. draba , Daucus carota L. (family Umbelliferae), D. sophia (previously listed as S. sophia ).
General distribution. Palaearctic ( Austria; Bosnia Herzegovina; Hungary)
Relation to the host. This species was associated with flower greening and deformation.
Remarks. Nalepa (1891) at first described either A. longior or its two varieties drabae and capsellae . Later, he elevated drabae to the rank of species and synonymised A. longior and A. capsellae with it ( Nalepa 1929). Amrine and Stasny (1994) listed this species as a junior synonym of A. drabae and this synonymy was retained in the Fauna Europaea checklist by de Lillo (2004). Examining carefully the drawings of Nalepa (1891d), a few differences can be observed on the prodorsal shield pattern such as a complete submedian line ending on the rear shield margin between the admedian line and the sc tubercles.
