Specimen examined. México: Oaxaca, 18 mi E La Ventosa, Junc, Hwy 190, 21.07.1965, G.H. Nelson, locust-like shrub (CHAH).
This specimen and the ones recently reported by Westcott (2008) were identified with the help of a photograph of the unique type kindly provided by Eduard Jendek.
