Holotype: White label 1 stating collection locality as “Jawalagiri, North Salem, FRI Sandal Insect Survey [ INDIA: Madras (Tamil Nadu)], 7. x. 1930 ”. White label 2 stating “ J. B. Corporaal, Type, Tenerus limbatus nov. sp. ” Red label 3 stating “Type”. White label 4 stating “Antennae missing; a small label mentioning number “301” of unknown meaning.
Remarks. Antennae are missing. Only the left middle and both hind legs are present.
Paratype: White label 1 stating collection locality as “Jawalagiri, North Salem, FRI Sandal Insect Survey [ INDIA: Madras (Tamil Nadu)], 7. x. 1930 ”. White label 2 stating “ J. B. Corporaal, Paratype, Tenerus limbatus .” Green label 3 stating “ Paratype ”; a small label mentioning number “1819” is of unknown meaning .
