Chrysis asmarana MOCSÁRY : BOHART & FRENCH 1986: 341 (lectotype design. by Bohart, Eritrea).

Chrysis asmarana MOCSÁRY : KIMSEY & BOHART 1990: 381 (syn. of Chrysis alternans Dahlbom , Eritrea).

D i s t r i b u t i o n: Eritrea.

Chrysis asmarana MOCSÁRY differs from Chrysis alternans DAHLBOM in having six teeth on tergite III, but is closely related to Chrysis peringuezi MOCSÁRY and probably a junior synonym of that species.
