Distribution: N India, Nepal, Burma, S and SE China, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Malay Peninsula, Taiwan.
Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Lower Risk (lc).
Discussion: armiger species group. Includes terasensis, but see Yoshiyuki (1991 a) and Pavlinov et al. (1995 b). Reviewed in part by Kock (1996) Bates and Harrison (1997), Sinha (1999), and Hendrichsen et al. (2001 b).
