Morphometric data. Male (n=33), anterior wing length: 8.0–15.0 mm.

Remarks. Anacroneuria payagua was originally described in Mato Grosso do Sul state ( Froehlich 2007), and the present study now expands its distribution to Central Brazil. The species was collected at Serra dos Pireneus and this is a new record for Goiás state. The penial armature of A. payagua is quite characteristic and agrees with the original description ( Froehlich 2007). The nymph was described by Righi-Cavallaro & Froehlich (2013).
