Type material examined. HOLOTYPE (ɗ): “Shang \ hai” [circle, handwritten]; “ Type ” [circle with green frame, printed]; “7. SCUTELLERA CYANEOVITTA .” [printed, cut from a copy of Walker, 1867, p. 16]; “ BRIT. MUS. \ TYPE No. \ HEM. 437.” [pink square, printed + handwritten]. Pinned; segments III–IV of left and segment IV of right antenna, tarsi of right fore and left mid legs, right mid and both hind legs distad of coxa missing; pygophore removed, macerated, phallus pulled out through genital opening but not detached from pygophore, mounted on card, pinned with the specimen; deposited in BMNH ( Figs. 45–48 View FIGURES 41 – 48 ).
