Diagnosis. Elytra black, no fasciae or spots, intervals punctate pubescent; pronotum metallic green, glabrous, setiferous punctures more on basal region and a row on either side of median line; 3rd antennomere shorter than the combined length of the 1st and 2nd.; median tooth of mentum truncate at apex with rounded angles; labrum very slightly emarginate at apex; apical segments of maxillary and labial palpi spindle shaped; aedeagus slender, lamella rounded at apex.

Description. BL = 7.66 mm, HW= 1.54 mm, PL= 1.76 mm, PW= 2.16 mm, EL= 4.44 mm, EW= 3.30 mm

Head metallic green, pronotum metallic green, lateral margins brown. Elytra black, lateral margins brown. Labial and maxillary palpi, first three antennomeres, all parts of leg except coxae yellowish brown; labrum, mandibles and coxae dark brown; 4th to last antennomeres brown colour. Ventral surface fuscous colour.

Head with frons, vertex and occiput smooth, glabrous, very minutely punctate, fronto-clypeal suture visible. Labrum apical margin very slightly emarginate, outer apical angles rounded; clypeus apical margin truncate. Apical segment of maxillary and labial palpi spindle-shaped. Median tooth of mentum truncate at apex with rounded angles.

Pronotum wider than long, rounded along lateral sides; lateral margins finely bordered and explanate, more near base. Middle line prominent, not reaching extremities and guarded by a row of setiferous punctures on either side. Surface medially impunctate; laterally, basally coarsely punctate with setiferous punctures, more on basal fovea. Apical angles smoothly rounded and basal angles obtuse but not sharp. Basal fovea moderately deep.

Elytral striae and intervals punctate and pubescent. Ventral surface punctate, pubescent except median portion of meso and metasternum. Elytral epipleura pubescent.

Aedeagus slender; median lobe slightly curved, bent gradually near base; apex of apical lamella rounded; length of apical lamella moderately elongate.
