Diagnosis. Elytra black with a greenish tinge, without distinct longitudinal band or fascia or spot, elytral intervals smooth with a row of punctures on either side of striae; pronotum quadrate, moderately punctate pubescent, punctures more on basal region; median tooth of mentum small and slightly emarginate at apex; labrum deeply emarginate at apex or bilobed; apical segment of maxillary and labial palpi sub-cylindrical and coniform, respectively; aedeagus slender, lamella rounded at apex, apical portion long, left side of median lobe expanded laterally.
Description. BL = 10.24 mm, HW= 2.04 mm, PL= 2.22 mm, PW= 2.96 mm, EL= 6.26 mm, EW= 4.08 mm
Head black with coppery reflections; pronotum black with coppery reflections in the middle and greenish at the sides; elytra black with greenish tinge at base and lateral sides; labial and maxillary palpi, tibia and tarsal segments, first three antennomeres fulvous; femora, labrum, mandibles and remaining antennomeres dark brown; ventral surface fuscous.
Labrum deeply emarginate or bilobed with rounded apical angles, fine setae present on either side; clypeus very slightly emarginate; fronto-clypeal suture visible; frons punctuate pubescent except in the middle which is glabrous, few impressed lines near eyes, frontal fovea reduced to a furrow; vertex very few small punctures, almost glabrous. Apical segment of maxillary and labial palpi sub-cylindrical and coniform respectively, almost dorsoventrally flattened and slightly tapering towards apex. Median tooth of mentum small, and slightly emarginate at apex.
Pronotum quadrate, moderately punctate pubescent, punctures more at basal region; lateral margins finely bordered, explanate, more at basal region. Median line prominent; basal fovea deep but not reaching basal margin; basal margin slightly wider than anterior margin; apical angle rounded and basal angle obtuse but not sharp.
Elytra somewhat elongate, striate punctate, intervals convex; a row of punctures on either side of stria, setiferous punctures on apical half; 9th interval to lateral margin punctate pubescent; apical part of elytra slightly pointed.
Prosternum, proepisternum, mesosternum, mesepisternum, metepisternum punctate, pubescent; metasternum impunctate medially and pubescent laterally; prosternal process finely bordered. Abdominal sternites uniformly punctate and pubescent.
Aedeagus slender and curved; median lobe bent gradually near base; apex of apical lamella rounded; left side of median lobe expanded laterally on dorsal view; apical portion elongate.
