Diagnosis. Elytra with distinct longitudinal band at sides continuing till apex, fasciae or spots absent, elytral intervals with densely arranged minute punctures with hairs; dorsal surface of head and pronotum coarsely punctate with prominent pubescence, pronotum cordate; median tooth of mentum simple, rounded; labrum apical margin slightly emarginate; apical segment of maxillary and labial palpi almost spindle shaped; apical lamella of aedeagus pointed forming a hook-like structure that sharply bends dorsally.
Description. BL = 8.36 mm, HW= 1.68 mm, PL= 1.56 mm, PW= 2.28 mm, EL= 5.16 mm, EW= 3.48 mm
Head and pronotum metallic green; elytra metallic green with a tinge of black; maxillary and labial palpi except the apical palpomere, all parts of leg except coxae, longitudinal latero-marginal band on elytra light yellowish brown; apical segment of both palpi, first 3 antennomeres light brown; remaining antennomeres and labrum brown; mandibles dark brown; coxae fuscous; ventral surface black; epipleura yellowish brown.
Head dorsal surface coarsely punctate with prominent pubescence except on frontal disk and occiput; occiput glabrous and reticulate. Labrum slightly emarginate at apical margin, apical angles rounded with few setae on each side; clypeus very slightly emarginate, almost straight. Last segment of maxillary and labial palpi almost spindle shaped, slightly tapering towards and truncate at apex. Median tooth of mentum, rectangular with rounded angles.
Pronotum cordate; basal margin wider than anterior margin; lateral margins sinuate at base; basal angle acute; surface coarsely and deeply punctured, punctures with prominent pubescence; median line indistinct. Lateral margins very finely bordered and explanate; basal fovea shallow.
Elytra striate punctate, intervals densely punctate pubescent; distinct yellow longitudinal band at lateral sides continuing till apex.
Prosternum coarsely punctate pubescent; proepisternum coarsely but sparsely punctate, pubescent; prosternal process bordered; mesosternum impunctate medially, coarsely punctate pubescent laterally; mesepisternum with few coarse punctures, with hairs, impunctate laterally; metasternum coarsely punctate, pubescent except some portion medially; metepisternum punctate, pubescent. Abdominal ventrites punctate and pubescent.
Aedeagus gradually tapers from base towards apex in lateral view, apex of apical lamella pointed forming a hook-like structure that sharply bends dorsally; length of apical portion long.
