Diagnosis. Yellow band bordering the elytra at sides and apex, fascia at humeral angle apart from middle and at apex; elytral intervals punctate pubescent; pronotum quadrate sinuate at base, coarsely punctate pubescent; median tooth of mentum emarginate at apex; labrum slightly emarginate at apex; apical segment of maxillary and labial palpi sub-cylindrical shaped; lamella of aedeagus bifurcated at apex.

Description. BL = 13.40 mm, HW= 2.50 mm, PL= 2.60 mm, PW= 3.60 mm, EL= 9.00 mm, EW= 5.70 mm

Head and pronotum black with metallic red lustre; elytra black with yellow band and fascia; labrum, mandibles, antennae brown; coxae dark brown, other parts of leg light brown; ventral surface dark brown, lateral margins of abdominal sternites with brownish yellow band.

Head with frons having few punctures medially, coarsely but moderately punctate (big punctures) laterally, same is the case for vertex; occiput finely closely punctate; some punctures with hairs; few depressed lines extending near eyes reaching nearly up to fronto-clypeal suture; few hairs on gena just behind eyes. Labrum truncate at apex, apical angles rounded, fine setae present on either side; clypeus truncate at apex. Apical segment of maxillary and labial palpi sub-cylindrical, slightly compressed towards and truncate at apex. Median tooth of mentum emarginate at apex.

Pronotum quadrate, lateral sides rounded and sinuate at base, lateral margins finely bordered and explanate. Surface coarsely punctate, punctures with fine hairs more at basal region as well as lateral sides. Apical angles rounded, basal angles obtuse but not sharp. Median line fine and prominent but not reaching extremities. Basal fovea shallow.

Elytra striate punctate, intervals punctate pubescent. Yellow band bordering the elytra at sides and apex, fascia at humeral angle (reaching up to 5th interval from lateral margin/border) apart from middle (reaching up to 3rd interval) and at apex (spot covering from 3rd to half of 6th interval).

Prosternum and proepisternum punctate with setiferous punctures; prosternal process finely bordered; mesosternum, mesepisternum, metepisternum and metasternum laterally punctate with setiferous punctures; metasternum medially impunctate. Abdominal sternites moderately pubescent. Tarsal segments pubescent dorsally.

Aedeagus very distinct, apical lamella long and bifurcated, one arm bigger and hooked and the other nearly straight with a knob at apex.
