Comments
This species is separated from other species of the varius group by the following characters: fore wing distally with broad pale area bearing short pale setae, the setae on the anterior margin of marginal vein, and about 6 marginal fringe setae white; antenna with pedicel mostly white, except for narrow dark brown stripe on ventral margin, F2 and F3 pale, 1.15–1.07 times as long as wide respectively, C3 mostly pale; the tergites of gaster evenly marked by transverse dark brown bands.
