Notes.

Aplosporella javeedii was initially reported on Celtis africana and Searsia lancea in South Africa ( Jami et al. 2014). Fan et al. (2015 a) recorded this species in China for the first time, associating it with the canker or dieback disease of five hosts: Albizia julibrissin , Broussonetia papyrifera , Gleditsia sinensis , Juniperus chinensis , and Styphnolobium japonicum . Aplosporella javeedii is widespread on host plants of more than 10 families ( Fan et al. 2015 a; Zhu et al. 2018; Pan et al. 2019; Lin et al. 2023 a). In this study, we report new host records for this species, including Acer miyabei , Acer truncatum , Forsythia suspensa , Lagerstroemia indica , Sambucus williamsii , Syringa vulgaris , Ulmus pumila , and Xanthoceras sorbifolium .
