Naushonia carinata Dworschak, Marin & Anker, 2006 View in CoL
( Fig. 24 View FIGURE 24 A)
Naushonia carinata Dworschak et al. 2006: 3 View in CoL View Cited Treatment , figs. 1–6.
Material examined. Indonesia. 1 female ( RMNH. CRUS.D.56755), western Lombok, Teluk Medana, seagrass flat with sand, mud, some rubble-gravel, burrow, suction pump and digging/sieving, 0.2–0.7 m, 12 May 2014 [LB-St3- 03].
Description. See Dworschak et al. (2006).
Habitat. Muddy sand flats, sometimes near seagrass beds; in burrows of the callianassid ghost-shrimp Glypturus armatus . Depth range: intertidal and possibly shallow subtidal (about 0–5 m).
Distribution. Indo-West Pacific: Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia (first record) ( Dworschak et al. 2006; present study).
Remarks. Naushonia carinata , one of the most distinctive species of the genus ( Fig. 24 View FIGURE 24 A), is recorded from Indonesia for the first time. The single female specimen from Lombok almost perfectly agrees with the original description of the species in Dworschak et al. (2006).
