Diagnosis. The male is unknown. The female is similar to those of P. pastinella , P. pondoensis and P. pastiniformis . P. pastinella differs from P. andrenoides in the shorter body length. The female of P. pondoensis differs markedly from P. andrenoides in the coarsely punctation of the clypeus and supraclypeal area.
Description
Female. Bl = 6,8mm. General habitus ( Fig. 62e View FIGURE 62 ). Head. L = 1,7mm; W = 2,0mm. Head wider than long ( Fig. 62a View FIGURE 62 ). Integument black except mandibles faintly reddish apically and clypeus partly brownish. Face predominantely shiny and with some loose, long, yellowish, erect hairs. Mandibles bidentate. Clypeus and supraclypeal area convex in profile; clypeus densely and strongly punctate; punctures of clypeus large and of drop-like size, considerably bigger than those of supraclypeal area; upper part of clypeus with a small, transverse band of fine punctures and reticulation of similar structure of supraclypeal area. Clypeoantennal distance 0,3mm. Supraclypeal area finely and sparsely punctate; surface strongly reticulate. Antennae brownish to blackish. Mesosoma. L = 1,4mm; W (ITS) = 1,6mm. Integument black. Scutum shiny; disc sparsely punctate (i = 2,5–3,0d) and finely reticulate ( Fig. 62b View FIGURE 62 ). Scutellum as illustrated in Fig. 62c View FIGURE 62 . Scutum, scutellum, metanotum mesepisternum and propodeum with greyish to yellowish, erect hairs. Basal area of propodeum as illustrated in Fig. 62c View FIGURE 62 . Marginal region of posterior truncation reticulate. Wings. Hyaline; slightly fuscouse apically. Legs. Integument mostly brownish. Vestiture greyish to yellowish. Ts coarsely serrate, with about 5 strong, oblique projections ( Fig. 62f View FIGURE 62 ); Bp as illustrated ( Fig. 62g View FIGURE 62 ). Metasoma. L = 4,2mm; W = 2,3mm. Integument brownish to blackish; T without apical hair bands. Prepygidial fimbria brownish. Discs and marginal zones of T1–T3 as illustrated ( Fig. 62d View FIGURE 62 ).
