Discussion of Heterosternuta cocheconis . These collections from West Virginia, new state record, extend this species’ southern distribution at least 350 miles south-southwest. This is not to suggest the “discovery” or expansion of the species in these areas, but rather that the lack of a recent revision of this group has resulted in incomplete published distributions.
