Remarks
This species was known only from Brazil, and only one paper reports some biological and behavioural characteristics of this species ( Lofego & Moraes, 2005). This is the first record of this species in the French Antilles and from the Caribbean area. Measurements of setae and body length fit very well those included in the original description of Denmark & Muma (1973).
