Type Locality: Australia, Northern Territory, Mary River.
Vernacular Names: Narrow-eared Leaf-nosed Bat.
Distribution: Northern Territory, N Western Australia and N Queensland ( Australia). A New Guinea record is probably erroneous, see Hill (1963 b:87).
Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Lower Risk (nt).
Discussion: cyclops species group.
