Diospyros greveana H.Perrier subsp. boinensis H.Perrier, Mémoires de l’Institut scientifique de Madagascar, sér. B, 4: 125 (1952). — Lectotype (here designated): Perrier 1750bis (P! [ P00541758 ]; iso-, P! [ P00541756 , P00541757 ]).
Perrier 1750bis is here chosen as the lectotype of Diospyros greveana H.Perrier subsp. boinensis H.Perrier instead of the other syntypes (Decary 8165, Perrier 1750, Perrier 8781, Perrier 16880, Perrier 17692 [incorrectly cited in protologue as Perrier 17792], Perrier 3783 [not found]) because it possesses the most mature fruit among the original material.
