Maba myriophylla H.Perrier, Mémoires de l’Institut scientifique de Madagascar, sér. B, 4: 101 (1952). — Lectotype (here designated): Humbert 12692 (P! [00573593]; iso-, BR!, G!, K!, MO!, P! [ P00573594 , P00573595 ], PRE!, S!, TAN!, TEF!, WAG!).
Humbert 12692 is here chosen as the lectotype of Maba myriophylla H.Perrier instead of the other syntypes (Decary 7338, Decary 17848, Humbert 5932, Humbert 12354, Humbert 14101, Humbert 14235, Perrier 19191) because it has widely distributed duplicates. One other syntype ( Humbert 12852) is excluded from M. myriophylla as it represents a collection of D. myrtifolia H.Perrier.
