Паразито-хозяинные связи. Моноксенный паразит, на Asio otu s (Linnaeus, 1758) [ Price et al., 2003].
Распространение. США [ Keirans, 1967], Венгрия [Vas et al., 2012a], Румыния [ Adam, Daroczi, 2006], Украина, МоΛΔавия [Лункашу и Δр., 2008]. ΑΛя территории России указан впервые.
