Vernacular Names: Campbell's Mona Monkey.

Distribution: Senegal to Cavally River ( Liberia – Côte d’Ivoire border).
Conservation: CITES – Appendix II; IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).
Discussion: C. mona species group. McAllan and Bruce (1989) argued that the original publication of this species should be: The Analyst, 24:298-299 [publ. 2 July 1838]. Does not include lowei : see Kingdon (1997).
