Gallus gallus (type host) ( Galliformes : Phasianidae ), type-locality: GERMANY ( Heller 1880); EUROPE ( Kethley 1970), RUSSIA, Moscow ( ZISP) ( Bochkov & Mironov 1998), POLAND, Szklarka Przygodzicka, ( AMU) (Skoracki 1999b); Ptilopachus petrosus (Odontophoridae) , CAMEROON, Mabas ( MRAC, AMU) ( Skoracki & Sikora 2003); Alectoris rufa (Phasianidae) , FRANCE, Corsica ( AMU, ZIN, SNM) ( Skoracki & Sikora 2004a).
Habitat. Covert, secondary, alular and tertial feathers.
