Type material. Holotype female at AMU, paratypes: females at AMU, BMNH. Hosts and distribution. Strix aluco (type host) ( Strigiformes : Strigidae ), type-locality: ENGLAND, South Yorkshire, Worsbrough ( Nattress & Skoracki 2009); Asio otus (Strigidae) , POLAND, ( AMU) ( Skoracki et al. 2012a).
Habitat. Greater covert feathers.

( Philips & Norton 1978); Tyto alba (Tytonidae) , CAMEROON, Waza, ( MRAC, AMU) ( Skoracki & Dabert 2002); Bubo africanus (Strigidae) , SOUTH AFRICA, ( MRAC) ( Skoracki & Dabert 2002).
Habitat. Tertiary, under-wing greater primary coverts, scapulars, secondary covert feathers.
