Original data: “ a. Oajaca. From M. Sallé’s collection.” [holotype]

HOLOTYPE ♁: red-margined holotype disc; green-margined type disc; “58. 135 MEX. (Oajaca.)”; “15. ARMA INVARIA .”; “NHMUK 010592325”. Fourth and fifth left antennomeres missing ( Fig. 91 View FIGURES 89–96 ).

Current status: Apoecilus invarius (Walker, 1867) (see Thomas 1992: 28).

Note: The holotype was first figured in Distant (1880: Tab. IV. fig. 21).
