Distribution. N.E. India (Sikkim), Tibet, southern China (including Hainan Island and Taiwan), northern Vietnam, Thailand, Laos and Burma, Philippines, Malay Peninsula, and northern Borneo.
Remarks. The subgenus Stenaulophrys is distinguished from the nominate subgenus by the shape of the subgenital plate and style as noted in the above key. S. (Stenaulophrys) comes (Jacobi) and koshunella (Matsumura) , which are known only from females, are not included in the following key. These species are tentatively placed in S. ( Stenaulophrys ), based on their general appearance and distribution.
