Ctenothrips smilax Bhatti 1976: 317 View in CoL –320.
This species was described from India, in the states of Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. It was based on five brachypterous females, taken from fern and herbage, and the brachypterous male was described subsequently from China ( Hu & Feng 2011). These are the only published records.
