Generic diagnosis. Body size medium, slender, with shallow, scattered or more dense impressed spots. Fastigium verticis extending beyond base of antennae, not pointed or elongate; separated from fastigium frontis by a notch, the tubercle at base of fastigium verticis small. Eyes spherical or oval, head not pronouncedly elongate, rounded. Pronotal disc flat and shouldered, with obvious lateral carinae; lateral lobes slightly inclining, with obvious humeral sinus. Protibiae with spines ventrally, genicular lobes armed. Postfemora with spines on both ventral margins; knees armed. Full winged, tegmina longer than hindwings, surpassing knees of postfemora. Male stridulatory rib characteristic for each species. Titillators fused, sclerotised, densely covered by dentate projections (Figs. 13– 15).
