Etymology L sabina HNS , given female name, as Sabina, wife of Hadrian.
diagnosis Similar in various ways to balzani HNS , brunnescens HNS , exarata HNS , excubitor HNS , fabricator HNS , germaini HNS , hispaniolae HNS , nigella HNS , prattorum HNS , sarpedon HNS , tristis HNS , tristops HNS , and unicornis HNS , and differing as follows.
Major: pilosity very dense and long, with many of the hairs more than 2X Eye Length; a rugoreticulum extends from eye to antennal fossa and frontal lobe on each side of head; carinulae along midline of head reach occiput; occipital corners smooth; humerus in dorsal-oblique view high; mesonotal convexity very low; postpetiole from above spinose.
Minor: occiput broad, slightly concave, lacking nuchal collar; promesonotal profile smoothly semicircular; petiolar node from side tapers to a point; propodeal spines reduced to denticles.
Measurements (mm) Holotype major: HW 1.08, HL 1.16, SL 0.60, EL 0.12, PW 0.60. Paratype minor: HW 0.52, HL 0.54, SL 0.50, EL 0.06, PW 0.34.
Color Major: body and head medium brown except for head anterior to eyes, which is brownish yellow; legs dark yellow. Minor: body and head light brown except for head anterior to eyes, which is yellow; appendages yellow.
Range Known only from the type locality.
Biology Unknown.
