Description. Resembles S. soror soror in overall appearance and body coloration ( Figs. 10–11 View FIGURES 1 – 11 ). It differs from the other subspecies of S. soror by its short and thin setae on elytral intervals. The orientation of the apex of aedeagus can vary slightly (Figs. 19–20). It varies within the same intervals as that of the other subspecies of S. soror . The microtrichial patch of internal sac look more chitinized.
Etymology. The name refers to the area where the type series has been collected.
